Norm Mendieta

Lead Guitar

Originally hailing from Massachusetts, Norm was heavily influenced by the band KISS to pick up the guitar at age 9 and by age 12 he was serious about his guitar playing! Norm played in original bands throughout his teenage years and into his early 20s all the while honing his guitar shredding skills. He has played in many well known bands in Northern Massachusetts and even played in a Scorpions Tribute band.

In January of 2020 Norm moved to Charleston and co-founded the band Nor’Estah MB  and played the Myrtle Beach Strand down to Charleston. But as luck would have it, Norm needed to make some band changes due to proximity and traveling and Superfine is damn lucky to have found him….or maybe he found us! Norm compliments Superfine perfectly and brings a ton of experience along with his love for great classic rock to the stage.
