Joe started playing bass at 13 and spent his teens gigging in the Allentown PA and New Jersey area. Although his influences are rock bands, he has a soft spot for Motown and some funk too. After a 20 year hiatus (kids!), he got back into music playing bass in a rock/pop duo, and singing lead for Rhythm and Groove band in Pennsylvania. Since moving to the Charleston area, he has played bass in a few bands until finally finding his home with Superfine!
